Here, There & Everywhere!

James and I went down to Utah again! Yep, I wasn't home very long but that's okay. We went and watched James brother and sister play basketball. They did very well. I'm glad we were able to go down and support them and see them play in their games. It was a lot of fun.

On Sunday we had some visitors. I tried to get a picture of them on our lawn but of course I scared them away.. Oh well. It was funny. We were on a walk to see James aunt and uncle and I turned around to find them on our lawn. Good little sheeps! Only in Idaho would you have these types of visitors.

I made a no bake cheesecake on Sunday also. It taste alright but I think I put way too much lemon juice in it so it taste very lemony. Which I'm not a huge fan of. Next time I think I'm going to try and make the kind you bake. I'll let you all know if that one turns out and tastes better.

I'm just a little excited to be able to decorate for Christmas. I made James and I some Christmas coasters. I think they are way cute and turned out fabulously. Next DIY project is some Christmas banners. Christmas is by far my favorite holiday and I cannot wait to start decorating. Of course I will be doing a house tour once it's all decorated!

Well, that's all we/I have been up to in the last little while. So until our new adventures I hope you all have a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving!

Chelsey & Max's Road Trip

Max and I went on a little vacation down to Utah this last weekend. It was a lot of fun and well needed. On Saturday was the annual girls day shopping trip! It's where my mom, sister, my cousins, aunts and some close friends all go shopping for Christmas or whatever we want! It's an all day event and it's a ton of fun! I love being able to spend that time with my family. And I have to admit it was nice to get away from the freezing cold and snow for a little bit.

We were only gone for the weekend and we traveled back on Monday. As soon as I crossed over from the Utah border into Idaho there was snow! It was a nice surprise to see we still had so much. It made the rest of the drive so much more fun and of course a lot more beautiful. It felt nice to be back in the state that I now call home. It really is such a beautiful place to live. I am truly blessed.

When I turned to go down our street where we live Max got so excited! As you can tell he was longingly looking out the window at this point like hurry up I need to be home. He was so excited to be home. He ran around everywhere outside and even inside. But most importantly he was very excited later that night when Mr. James came home. His little tail wagged and he waited patiently for him to open the car door and as soon as it was opened he ran up to him and whined and made him pick him up. I think he really missed him ha ha.

It was really cute when I arrived home James had left me a very cute note and he even drew me an awesome picture of a giraffe! He knows me so well. It was so sweet of him. I really do have the best husband. He's awesome!

Our First Real Snow Fall!

We finally had the real snow. You know the kind that sticks ha ha. Max was pretty excited to go out and explore in it. Although he did get pretty cold. Right after I took this picture he jumped up on me for me to pick him up. He wanted me to warm him up. It was pretty darn cold.

The snow looks absolutely beautiful though! I am totally a snow person. 'm ready for December and more snow falls. It's just one of God's creations that is so wonderful and so stunning! I love being able to see it in the hills and in my backyard. It's awesome.

Our baby fish are growing up! They are turning orange! We could only find 6 when I took this picture but we have recounted and we have about 15 still! It's so exciting to see them all. They are super cute. I like the fact that we get to see them grow up. It's so much fun!

Baby It's Cold Outside!

I made more banners! Yay! This one is my favorite by far. I put a lot of effort into it, and all the banners I have made. They make our house look so much more holiday-ish ha ha. As I've mentioned many times, I LOVE decorating for holidays and I especially love do it yourself projects. They are a blast. And they make you feel so good when they turn out awesomely.

Well, we also had our first snow fall!It wasn't a lot of snow but it sure made me happy! It didn't stick nor did it sty very long. But it sure did cool things WAY down!

And when I say it cooled things WAY down.. I mean this ha ha. The high for today was only 23 degrees. BRR. But that's totally fine with me! I like the cold, warm blankets, fires and hot chocolate. James is the complete opposite though ha ha. Oh well, he'll get used to it and plus the cold means we get to cuddle more! That's a bonus right?

Little Cuties!

Friday afternoon my sister and her family came up for a short but sweet visit! I was so excited that they were coming because I haven't seen them in awhile. We had a blast while they were here also!

One of Chloe's favorite things to play with when she's at my house are these really old bears that I got when I was little. It's so fun to see her play with them. And of course I love to join in on the fun!

And of course we had to play ping-pong! It was so much fun and very enjoyable to watch.. even though I almost got hit by the ball a few times and we might of lost a few of the balls also but that's okay, I'm sure we will find them rolling around soon.

On Saturday we went into "town" and got some delicious ice cream! Nico ate hers so fast that she got a pretty sweet mustache. It was so cute and she was very proud of it.

On Sunday before they left Chloe found out that one of our fish had, had babies! It was a very lovely surprise. So now we have about 6 baby fish swimming around. It will be so much fun to see them get bigger. I just hope that they survive! Don't worry I'll keep you updated. ha ha.

Warm & Cozy!

The hubs and I went down to Logan, Utah yesterday so I could capture some pictures of the beautiful temple there for my photography business. It was such a chilly day but it was the perfect day to capture some pictures. I'm glad I have such a supportive husband!

It was wonderful to see all the fall colors that Utah has to offer. That is one thing I miss most about not living in Utah. They have such wonderful seasons and beautiful fall colors. It made taking pictures of the Logan, Utah Temple that much more perfect.

Also while in Logan we decided to do some "bumming" around town. We found one of my favorite kinds of hot chocolate Italian Amaretto from Stephen's! I was SO excited. This stuff smells heavenly and taste the same also. They stopped making it for awhile and I am so glad that it is back. This cold season has just got that much more exciting ha ha. If you have never tried this kind before.. you definitely should!

And with that being said, Halloween is officially over at my house and it has now turned into Thanksgiving decorations. I love decorating, if you haven't noticed. The turkey and small pilgrim/cornucopia decorations came from my mommy and I love them! They make everything else look so darn cute. I can't wait for Thanksgiving to come so I can enjoy the fun company from my family and of course all the delicious food! Yum!

They Know Us!

First things first, this place is very delicious! This is James and I favorite place to eat. They serve home cooked goodness and for a reasonable price. I love the service and the entire experience. James and I visited this place a few days ago and man I have to say, I can cross something off my bucket list finally! They recognized us! The waitress knew who we were and what we liked to drink. Oh boo ya! I'm finally a regular somewhere ha ha. I've always wanted to be regular.

Max has been being spoiled lately and he has got a few new habits. One includes going to the post office to visit his buddy and of course get himself a nice big dog bone. He gets so excited every time he gets to go to the post office. He even knows when it is time to go get the mail. He waits patiently by the door. It's a very cute habit. Ha!

I am So excited about this. I finally was able to get my photograph that I took of the Timpanogos Temple framed! It fits beautifully above the piano. Every time I look at it I get so excited! Another big thing is I am selling it! I put it up for sale and immediately had 6 people interested! Makes me so happy! This is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken.
