Thankful Thursday.

I am thankful for is my Heavenly Father. Without him I would not be here today, or where I am. I am grateful that he was willing to send his son down here for me. I love him so much. I can't wait until I am reunited with him. I know he is with me always, and he has my back. He's the best kind of father anyone can have. I'm glad that he loves us all so dearly. He must have a really big heart. He's amazing and strong. And I'm thankful to him for trusting me enough to send me down to earth.
I am also thankful for his son Jesus Christ. Again, without him I would not be here today. I'm so grateful for what he did for me. I'm glad that he made it possible for my sins to be forgiven. I'm grateful for his strength. I'm also very thankful that he is always here for me. When I'm at my best and when I'm at my worst. I'm glad that he will carry me when I get weak and hold my hand when I am strong. I'm glad that because of him I will one day be reunited with my loved ones. I again can not wait until I get to be with him again. He is my brother. The best kind of brother you can get. I love him dearly and he is and will always be special to me.
I am SO thankful and blessed for my AMAZING husband. He is my best friend, my entire world. I'm so lucky to be his for eternity. I love him so much. He's incredible. I can't express how much love I have for him. I'm thankful for him everyday. I'm thankful for all he does for me and for others. He truly is one special dude. I often wonder, "How did I get so lucky?!" I'm blessed that he is my husband. I wouldn't want it any other way. I'm grateful that he went on a mission. That he is a worthy priesthood holder and that he is so willing to use it. I don't know what I would do without him. He has helped me through some pretty tough times. I'm one lucky little lady! I'm thankful that I was able to be sealed to him. And I'm grateful to of been able to spend these last ten months as his wifey pooh. I can not wait for him to be the father of my children. He's going to be an amazing daddy. I'm so lucky to have him to father our children. I'm thankful for his testimony in the church. He has blessed my life in so many ways and he continues to do so everyday! I love him very much. I always have since we first met and I always will.
I'm thankful for my best friend Kirstie. She is always there for me when I need to vent. She is also a great shoulder to cry on. She has been in my life for many years now which is such a blessing to me. She is also my temple buddy. I'm so grateful that she is willing and able to go with me. It has been such a blessing in my life. I'm very proud of her and her accomplishments she has made in her life. I look up to her. We've had our ups and downs but in the end she has ALWAYS been there for me which I am eternally grateful for. I couldn't of asked for a better best friend. It's comforting to know that she is only a phone call away. I know I can count on her. Thank you for all you've done and helped me with. You're an awesome bestie! LOOOOVEEE YOU!
I am VERY thankful to my bestie Sabrina. She has been there since we were three. I know she's not going anywhere. It sucks that she lives so far away. But it's good to know that no matter how far away we are that she is still there and I can count on her. I'm grateful that she was my maid of honor. I wouldn't of asked for it to be anyone else. She is like my sister and I would do anything for her. I know I can depend on her and that she will always have my back. She's an amazing friend and can give me the comfort that I need at times. I'm thankful that she has been in my life for so many years. Love you lots Bina Boo!
I am also eternially grateful to my great siblings, Whitney and Phillip. We may have our differences at time and fight but hey we're related. ;) But, in the end you both are my best friends. Some of the best friends I've ever had. I know that either of you are ever going to go anywhere. I know I can count on both of you. You both have gave me a lot of useful advice. I look up to both of you. I love you two so much. I couldn't of asked for a better brother or a better sister. You two both mean SO much to me. Thank you for blessing my life in many different ways. And thank you for always being someone I can count on and for ALWAYS being there for me. Love you both tons!
I am SO SO SO grateful for my parents. They are the best parents a girl could ask for. They've been there through all the tough trials I have had in my life. They are my best friends. I can go to them with anything. I know they are always there for me and will comfort me when needed. They've been there good and bad. I don't know what I would do if they weren't my parents. I couldn't of asked for anyone better. I'm thankful that I get to call them mom and dad. They mean the world to me. They have blessed my life so much. Thank you both SO much for all the love and support you always give me. I love you both so much.
I'm so thankful for my little nieces and nephew who have one of the biggest blessings of my life! They have helped me through a lot with their big hearts full of love. I love them so much. I'm grateful that I get to be their Auntie Chelsey. I'm glad I get to be their best friend and I hope that never changes because they are also my best friends. I love those little munchkins more than words can describe. They are truly blessed my life and they continue to do so more and more every day.
I am also VERY thankful for my new family. Chris, Terri, Ryan, Brandon, Natalie, Nick, Halee and Kate. Each and every one of them have blessed my life in a different way. They are all really great friends. I am glad that they are now my family. I've always wanted younger siblings and I have been blessed to finally get some. I wouldn't want them to be anyone else! They are an amazing family. I'm glad that I can count on them. Especially my mommy-in-law. She's an incredible lady. Same with my daddy-in-law. I'm grateful to have them as my second parents. I will be eternally grateful to the Hatch family.
I'm SO very thankful to my grandparents. They're the best grandparents that there are. I'm glad they are mine. I know I am loved whenever I am around them. They are the BEST. I was glad that they were able to come to my wedding and make that day even more special. I am especially grateful for all my Grandpa Lamar has done for me. He has been a great example to me. I love him so much. My Grandma Jean is also an example to me. She has taught me a whole lot. Along with my Grandpa Jerry. He's been my best friend, and he has been through a lot and we can relate. I love my grandparents so much. They are all very amazing.
Needless to say, my life has been touched by many great people. I am truly blessed. I love my life and I wouldn't want any other life. I love who I am and I especially love who is in my life. Thank you to everyone who has come and gone, you've all touched my life and blessed it a little bit. Also a BIG thank you to everyone who is in my life. You bless my life every day and I am SO thankful that all of you are apart of my life. I look forward to all the many more memories we have to make. Thank you and I love each and every one of you more than you will ever know and I am eternally grateful for you.

He's mine.

Last night while I was trying to sleep I kept thinking over and over how lucky I really am. I have the most amazing husband ever. He's so supportive. I'm glad he's mine. I just laid there with my arms around him and couldn't help but smile. I was also remember how he proposed and how cheesy but totally me and him it was. I wouldn't of changed anything. I'm so blessed that I met him when I did, and that he's been a part of my life for awhile now. I can't wait to spend the eternities with him. He's my best friend. I'm so grateful to him that he will go to work everyday to support our little family but that he will always come home with a big smile and a hug for me. I'm grateful that he will paint my toenails because he knows I like it and slightly because he likes when they are painted. I'm glad that he will listen to me, really listen to me. I'm glad that we have so much in common. I'm grateful that he went on a mission to strengthen our relationship. I'm glad we can communicate and can trust in each other. I love him more than words and actions can describe. He's amazing. I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
I love this man more than anything. He's my entire world. I'm so blessed to have him in my life. And especially blessed to be sealed to this stud muffin. :) Wouldn't change anything.

Scream a little LOUDER.

Do you ever feel extremely frustrated? Like you're being judged? Or you feel like you're being used? Do you at times want to just SCREAM at the top of your lungs as loud as you can? Do you just want to be noticed?
Yep, sometimes I feel the same way. This week has been one of those weeks. Were I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. And it's not a good feeling. I want to cry, punch something or even scream at the top of my lungs. Sometimes I just cant control myself. Thankfully I have a very loving and understanding husband that will just put his arm around me and let me cry or he will sit down ready to listen. Yesterday while I was feeling down I was listening to Pandora trying to relax and clear my mind when Lea Michele's new song Louder popped on. (Yes, I was listing to her station. She's my favorite!) It gave me a sense of confidence and changed my mood instantly. She basically was saying stand up for yourself and don't take anyone's crap. To be yourself. And to be proud of yourself. So I'm doing just that. Not taking anyone's crap.I'm thankful for good music. It doesn't come around much anymore. But can I just say, I am SO excited for her CD to come out. It comes out on March 4th, 2014 (Which is my birthday!) She is an inspiring lady. That's all I have to say. If you haven't heard her new song Louder I HIGHLY recommend it! Also just look her up on YouTube and take a listen to all of her songs. They are amazing. From making you wanna dance, to calming you down. She speaks her mind. She has such a beautiful soothing voice along with the great lyrics. I hope if you are having a bad day, week, month whatever it is that all gets better. That you can feel confident in who you are. And know you are loved! I hope Lea Michele's song Louder can help you, like it helped me. Well enough of my talking... Let's let Lea Michele sing. Take a listen to her new single Louder.

My love for Temples.

My name is Chelsey Hatch. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am LDS. I am a Mormon. And I love every moment of it. I was born and raised in this religion and I am thankful to my parents for blessing me with the knowledge of the church. I am a strong believer in my religion.
I was sealed to my parents for all time and eternity in the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah on March 10th 1998. I was six years old and I still perfectly remember the day. It was extremely special and very sacred to me. I love the temple and I always will. After I was sealed to my parents I just knew that one day I would be returning again. But the next time I would be much older and it would be to be sealed to my love. So I too could then be sealed to my eternal companion and future children.
(This is the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah PS. I took this picture.)
15 years later on April 26th, 2013 I was sealed and married to my best friend James. Also in the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah. It was the most glorious day ever. It was the perfect weather,
prettiest day and I felt like the luckiest and happiest girl alive!
(See, I had a HUGE smile on my face, and I loved it!)
My love for temples has grown each day. I love them, they are gorgeous and I know them as
my happy place. I wouldn't want any other happy place. They can always cheer me up when I'm having a hard day or even when I'm having a great day. I love to go and do service. I am eternally grateful to Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father for providing me with such a beautiful and sacred place to go. Where I can be loved and know it and where I can feel beautiful and know it.
(I Love To See The Temple. One of my favorite songs!)

My best friend.

My best friend is amazing. His name is James. He is the most supportive person I have ever met.
He is the best friend a person could ever ask for. My best friend is my husband.
And he will always be my best friend.
(Everyone, this is James say hi!)
But I think we should start from the beginning.
We met back in 2009. We both worked at a grocery store called Maceys.
He was my supervisor, and I was just a dorky courtesy clerk.
We met through a mutual friend who also worked at Maceys. The story on our first
real conversation is actually pretty funny. Not the one that went, "Who is Chelsey A?" Me: "I am..?" "Oh hi newbie." Yeah, that wasn't a good move on his part. I did not like being called a newbie one bit ha ha.
I actually didn't really care for him right at first. I thought he was a stuck up jock. But that all changed.
Anywho.. here is the real story on how we first met. Our mutual friend we'll call him "Billy" okay?
One day while at work I was bagging for Billy, when all of the sudden he decided that he wanted
me to meet his awesome friend JC (James, everyone calls him JC except me.. I don't like it ha!)
He kept saying you should talk to him, he's really cool and was way talking him up.
But, I couldn't meet this friend in a normal way. No it had to be with some sort of a joke behind it.
So Billy came up with this "brilliant" plan/joke that we would start a rumor
(Rumors always went around..it was DRAMA city.)
That I was dating this kid named Marshall. So Billy decided that we needed to get another person in
on this rumor to make it seem more real. So who do you think he called over? James (JC) yup.
So we started this rumor.. and that's another story. But needless to say this rumor is what got
James and I to start talking and to start dating ha ha.
Our first date was supposed to be to Lagoon an amusement park. Well, it wasn't supposed to really even
be a date. It was supposed to be "a bunch of Maceys buddies." But it wasn't it was turned into a date.
And I knew it was a date when he said oh hey don't worry about buying a ticket I bought you one.
But James couldn't wait one more day to take me on this date so he called me on up and
asked me if I would like to go on date before our date. Ha ha, what a nerd.
But of course I agree'd. Our first date was miniature golfing or as some say put put and ice cream
down at the BYU Creamery. Which lead to a medium sized walk around campus. Needless to say
after the first date is was GAME OVER... Although our first kiss wasn't until our second date.
Which was the next day. Ha ha. It was an all day date, which I didn't mind one bit!
He then attended my high school graduation with my friend Sabrina. And also my senior all night party.
I decided not to attend the one at school and have a small get together with my buddies.
A total of four people. Counting me ha ha. I did say small.
(After I got all graduated..)
When I graduated we had only "really known" each other for one week. But needless to say, I was already
head over heals in love with him. Yep, I/we moved quick. On the night of my graduation at my party
James took the opportunity while we were by the fire to tell me that he loved me. I looked at him with awe and did what every girl does.. ha not really I laughed. And it took me about 10 minutes to say it back because I was in complete shock. I knew I loved him, but wasn't sure if he felt the same way because like I said it happened really fast. But once he said it, I just knew.
(My senior party.. Also the first time we said "I love you." I believe this was taking shortly after
I had replied back ha ha.. hence the smiles.)
A few weeks later James left me.. :( He went and served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was the longest and hardest two years of my life. But they were also filled with many blessings due to his decision to serve a mission. I am so proud of him and I am eternally grateful for his decision to do so. It has made me a better and stronger women. It also helped strengthened our relationship and we were able to really get to know each other. Spiritually and all other ways without the physical part of a relationship. But I do have to say, it did feel good to be able to hug him again after two years!
Did I mention he served in the Ghana, Cape Coast mission. Which is in Africa.
(Here he is on his mission.. as you can tell he's working real hard.. ;) Totally kidding,
I think it was a P-day [which is missionaries "day off"] or something.)
Anyways, James returned after serving a full-time mission (which is two years..) in Africa.
We dated for another 6 months before we were engaged. He popped the question on December 22nd, 2012 at Trafalga mini golf. He picked there because of our first date, and it's something we used to do all the time. He made it snow and got down on one knee and said some cute things and asked me to marry him.
One of the BEST days ever. :) Also the longest day ever. But that's okay, I got to spend it with him.
(This was our engagement picture that we sent out with the invites.)
We were married on April 26th, 2013 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple American Fork, Utah
It was the best decision I have ever married when I said yes to marry him and love him for eternity.
I wouldn't of changed anything. I am the luckiest girl alive.
(Ta-DA! We're married..!)
We went on our honeymoon to St. George, Utah. It was the best trip ever.
Filled with lots of fun activities from bowling, to eating junk food and going to museums.
(ha ha, yep sex included DUH! Come on I know you were thinking it..)
(I took pictures at our honeymoon but.. I don't know where that memory card is ha ha!
So here's a picture from our second date when he got home from his mission!)
(And here's one of us at Disneyland which was like our "second" honeymoon.
If you want to know that story just ask ha ha!)
Like I said before, my husband is my best friend. I can go to him about anything and everything. He is always there no matter what. He has been since day one. He's the most supportive person I know. He loves me unconditionally and I love him. He is my entire world. I'm so glad that he is in my life and I'm so blessed to be able to call him my husband. I am the luckiest girl alive. I married the most amazing man ever. I love him more than anything. And I am glad he is my best friend.
(Our wee little family!.. Also our first "family" picture taken)
(One of our many adventures. I believe this was to see the Christmas lights at
Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah)
(This is one of our many favorite activities to do together. BYU (Brigham Young University)
Basketball games. It's something we both love and  have a fantastic time with! GO COUGARS!)
(This is our song!! :) Yay.)
